Over the years, the Banking & Finance team of M&T has been deeply engaged in the field of innovative infrastructure investment and financing and has a leading position in the market. • The Banking & Finance team of M&T provided legal services to a wide range of financial institutions, such as trust companies (including but not limited to Minmetals Trust, Jingu Trust, Zijin Trust, etc.), securities companies and their subsidiaries (including but not limited to Minmetals Securities, Minmetals Kingdon, etc.), and insurance companies (including but not limited to Riverhead Capital, Sunlight Asset Management, etc.), for the business of infrastructure construction investment and financing.
• The transaction structures involved in the M&T Banking & Finance Team’s service projects include but are not limited to investor + EPC model, FEPC model, fund model, fund/partnership + EPC model, fund model, ABO model, PPP model, “Rent instead of Construction” , franchise + joint development model, equity investment + EPC model, and fund + service trust model.

• Provided legal services for the real estate trust projects of a number of trust companies, including CITIC Trust Co., Ltd., Minmetals International Trust Co., Ltd., Sdic Taikang Trust Co., Ltd., Beijing International Trust Co., Ltd., JIC Trust Co., Ltd., Kunlun Trust Co., Ltd., etc. The real estate financing clients include Vanke, Country Garden, Evergrande, Greenland Holding, Jinmao, Tahoe, Yango, Sino-Ocean Group, etc. The transaction modes include loan mode, various types of income rights buying and return sale mode, various types of income rights/equity investment mode, preferred stock mode, equity investment + simulated liquidation and exit mode, etc.

• Provided legal services for the government-credit cooperation trust projects. The trust companies included CITIC Trust Co., Ltd., Minmetals International Trust Co., Ltd., Sdic Taikang Trust Co., Ltd., Beijing International Trust Co., Ltd., and the transaction modes of government-credit cooperation trust projects included loan mode, land index financing mode, and land trust mode.
• Provided legal services for a number of trust companies, including CITIC Trust Co., Ltd., Minmetals International Trust Co., Ltd., Sdic Taikang Trust Co., Ltd., Beijing International Trust Co., Ltd., in respect of their trust projects of equity investment in non-listed companies.
