Etric(Zheng) Li is a partner at Merits & Tree. Prior to joining M&T, Mr. Li was a partner at Anli Partners Law Firm and worked for many years in the real estate company under China Railway Construction, a central enterprise.

Mr. Li’s primary practice areas include dispute resolution, real estate and infrastructure, regulatory and compliance. He has rich practice experience for more than 20 years. He has represented Sinopec Group, China South Industries Group, Gemdale Corporation and its member enterprises, China Resources Group, China Railway Construction, Petro China, China Railway, SDIC, SINOMACH, China National Building Materials Group, member enterprises of Shandong Energy Group in litigation and arbitration before local high courts, the Supreme People's Court of P.R.C., Beijing Arbitration Commission, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. Mr. Li specializes in major, difficult, complex, and challenging disputes, and several cases are included in the guiding cases of the Supreme People's Court. He has outstanding achievements in the petrochemical industry, energy and minerals, equipment manufacturing industry, and financing trade business.
